Intensive Care Unit
The Intensive Care Unit at LRH provides comprehensive medical and nursing services to patients requiring specialized medical, surgical, and cardiac care. Our four bed intensive care unit provides inpatient and outpatient procedures including cardioversion, transesophageal echocardiograms, pacemaker insertions, unit-specific drug infusions, inpatient telemetry, and outpatient cardiac monitoring. The nursing staff is a highly skilled and dedicated group of healthcare providers who work in collaboration with the medical staff to deliver a high standard of quality care.
The Unit is equipped with state of the art monitoring equipment and twenty-four hour coverage by a certified critical care physician. The medical director of the intensive care unit is one of the Hospitalists at LRH. Our shared mission of compassion and clinical excellence is directed toward a patient driven philosophy which reflects a high level of healthcare and best practices.
