HALO® Infant Sleep Sack for Newborns
Cost: $2,500

The unique HALO® SleepSack® wearable blanket replaces loose blankets in the crib that can cover a baby's face and interfere with breathing. In addition to sleeping safer, the HALO SleepSack wearable blanket helps babies sleep better too. It's a warm, cuddly blanket they can't kick off, ensuring baby sleeps soundly throughout the night. And when baby is sleeping safe and sound, moms and dads can rest easy.

Become a Benefactor of the Born to Read or Reach Out and Read Early Literacy Programs at LRH
Cost: $5,000

Born to Read is a program through the American Library Association’s Library Services to Children division. The purpose of this program is to raise awareness among new parents about the critical role which reading plays in a baby's growth and well being. Each mother who gives birth at the Agnes Norris Birthing Center receives a packet with a book and information about reading programs for children at area public libraries; in addition, the packet includes a brochure which details how families can teach their young pre-reading skills. Born to Read is in its fifth year at LRH.

Treadmill – Cardiac Rehab
Cost: $6,000 each

A new Treadmill is needed at LRH Cardiac Rehabilitation Center. “This would be a tremendous addition to LRH’s Cardiac Rehabilitation department,” said Lannette Madden, RN and Director of Cardiac Rehab Services. “Our program continues to grow and access to new equipment is important for our cardiac rehab patients. It provides them an opportunity to exercise using a variety of cardio equipment. Today’s treadmills have easy-to-use control board with many more options, which are especially important for cardiovascular fitness.

Total Care ICU Bed – Intensive Care Unit
Cost: $13,275

LRHs Intensive Care Unit is in need of a Total Care ICU Bed for quality patient care. These beds are critical to patient safety and help to reduce falls, provide surface protection and safe skin care, and provide a comfortable environment for critically ill patients.
