Local Photographer Display at Littleton Regional Hospital
January 5, 2011
Littleton Regional Hospital and its Auxiliary is pleased to announce the display of Melissa Jellison's photography in the H. Taylor Caswell, Jr. Physicians Office Building in the upper atrium.
Melissa Jellison is a sixth grade teacher at Whitefield Elementary School who lives with her husband, Benjamin Jellison in Twin Mountain. She was born in Rockville, CT and moved to NH when she was ten years old. Jellison attended Plymouth State University and earned her BS in Childhood Studies. While not a formally trained photographer, she has always been told she has "an eye" for photography, so she started her own business selling her photography as a hobby during her summer breaks. Most of Jellison's photos are nature shots taken locally, but she also has some chronicling her travels to Alaska, Ireland and Florida. Jellison always has her camera with her so she can capture beautiful moments in nature.
Littleton Regional Hospital invites community members to stop by to see a few select pieces photographed by artist, Melissa Jellison. Local artists interested in displaying their artwork or photography at Littleton Regional Hospital should contact the Development and Community Relations office at (603) 444-9304.
