Dr. Mukerjee elected as a Fellow of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology

Anil K. Mukerjee, MD, FACC, FACP, FASE, FASNC of Littleton was recently elected as a Fellow of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology (FASNC). The Fellow designation recognizes a select group of physicians and scientists.
Dr. Mukerjee is the third physician in New Hampshire to receive this distinguished designation since 1996.
Dr. Mukerjee became an active member of the medical staff at Littleton Regional Hospital in 1996 after completing his cardiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital – Harvard Medical School in Boston. He is also board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and echocardiography. Dr. Mukerjee completed cardiac CT training at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland and is trained in cardiac PET from Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Mukerjee is a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography and played a key role in overseeing the process of LRH achieving Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography, certification for the echocardiography laboratory at LRH.
For Physician Members of ASNC, the Fellow designation recognizes those members who have fulfilled both the training and performance requirements for certification through the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
