Oz, M.D. "Saying you're too overweight to exercise is like saying you're too skinny to eat." If you have medical conditions you should talk to your doctor before starting any exercise program. Once you have the ok don't be afraid to start small and if you want to live longer start today.
Fitness Tip #2

The long and the short of it: A moderate amount of physical activity, preferably performed daily can lead to significant health benefits for older adults. Longer sessions of moderately intense exercises such as walking or swimming or shorter sessions consisting of more intense activities such as stair climbing or speed walking are equally beneficial.
